WELCOME TO ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS
The society’s executive body will like to extend a warm welcome to all dancers! It is a pleasure to have you all with us! This year promises to be one of great team work and much development for the society. This however can only become a reality if we all work towards achieving this common goal and stay steadfast to maintain the high standards that have been set by past UDS members.
CLASSES & THEIR IMPORTANCE
There are classes Thursday and Saturday each week for all members. . These classes are assigned to help us train and develop our talent. All members are expected to take part in these classes. A full layout of the respective class schedules are available on the studio’s notice board; please check to ensure that you have the correct time for your session. Also it is important to note that members are allowed one class per day, unless otherwise authorized by an executive member of the society.
DANCE FEES
The deadline for UDS fees is 11th of October! After which a $300 fine will be imposed. The society needs the funds operate efficiently and provide for the needs of its members. Persons having difficulty meeting this deadlines are being advised to come forward so that proper arrangements can be made with the treasures to best facilitate you.
DANCEHALL CLASSES & FOLK CLASSES
Dancehall and Folk is apart of the Jamaican culture! These genres of dance are areas that reflect our culture in so many ways, thus we feel that it is important to provide these genre of dance to the members. Class times are available on the notice board. Folk classes are mandatory for all members.
